Passione Quartet.

We are an Auckland-based String Quartet committed to delivering high-quality chamber music with a clear, contemporary voice. Since forming in early 2024, we have performed throughout Tāmaki Makaurau and across the mōtū, bringing thoughtful, well-crafted programmes to a wide range of audiences.

Our Ensemble has benefited from guidance by leading musicians, including intensive coaching from the New Zealand String Quartet and the Australian String Quartet in Adelaide. We are also a part of the Auckland Philharmonia Aspiring Musician’s Programme.

We are available for weddings, events, private functions, and more.

  • “Soo amazing, I was delighted with their performance as was everyone else in attendance at the wedding. Couldn't recommend enough 💥💥💥”

  • "We hired Rose and Archie to play a violin duet at our wedding, and they were absolutely incredible! Communication was great leading up to the wedding with emails, messages and phone calls. We sent them the music we wanted, and they composed it THEMSELVES perfectly. They played exactly how we envisioned our wedding to sound like. As soon as we heard the violins, we wanted to cry... in fact had to hold back our tears haha. Their performance was so beautiful it made our guests cry too, and everyone was talking about how amazing they sounded. I asked for a lot, and they truly delivered. Their music has even inspired my friends to want violins at their weddings now! Rose and Archie are an easy-going, talented duo. We recommend 100000%!!! Thank you both for giving our wedding a beautiful start."

  • “Many thanks for the co-ordination of our musicians for our Jubilee on Friday. We had just so many positive comments and feedback, and their music really elevated the event and was a wonderful opportunity for children to actually see where music comes from!”
