Performed by Mark Menzies (violin), Heather Lewis (cello) and Reuben De Lautur (piano) at the Nelson Composer’s workshop, 2022.

Written using the tone clock method, this composition was written to capture the impermanence of life and that the only certain thing is change. It explores both the happiness and the sadness of change.


 

2022: Solo performance of the Bruch Violin Concerto in G minor (1st and 2nd movements).

Performed in the Dunedin Town Hall with the Dunedin Youth Orchestra and Christchurch Youth Orchestra in September, 2022.


 

2021: An extract from the 1st movement of the Barber Violin Concerto.

Performed at the preliminary round of the Dunedin Concerto Competition. Accompanied by Tom McGrath.
